The mystical island tucked under a continent.

Supposedly, most visitors to Australia never make it to Tasmania. What a shame, because this island is stunningly beautiful, with exotic peaks, misty forests, and cute towns.

I came here, solo, on one of my first backpacking trips. I was only 19 years old. It was easy to get around, and I did several incredible hikes. There's a lot that I didn't see, including some of the most incredible caves in Australia.

Any traveller heading down under should include Tassie on their itinerary.
