West meets Middle East.

A wealthy, hot, flat Gulf nation, Qatar isn't a destination for most people. I spent two days in Qatar as a layover. There's not so much to see or do, especially in the extreme heat. Nevertheless, there is some interesting Arab culture and immigrants from around the world. It's like an ultra-laid-back Abu Dhabi.
