My ancestral homeland.

My ancestors came mostly from southern Poland and northern then-Czechoslovakia. I was excited to visit a land where genetically I blend in. As it happens, I was continuously mistaken for being Polish, and frequently explained that I don't speak Polish. 

Poles are often characters, and are eminently helpful and talkative. And the country is beautiful, with lush fields and soaring peaks. Cities are also pretty - Krakow is one of the nicest towns in Europe. Enjoy Poland.
