A tiny valley ruled by a prince.

It's true: Liechtenstein is rule by a prince in a castle, making this tiny country seem like something from a fairy tale. It's mostly a pretty mountain valley sandwiched between Switzerland and Austria.

I visited for two days one summer, and managed to camp, illegally, on the grounds of the castle. This feat is equivalent to a foreigner camping on the grounds of the White House! I also walked around Vaduz after hitchhiking in with a Brazilian guy from Austria. It's a neat little country said to have one of the highest qualities of life on earth.
