The heart of Europe.

It's easy to fall in love with Prague - the cobblestone streets, the endless statues, the walkability of the city. But venturing outside of Prague, Czechia, or the Czech Republic when I visited, is stunningly beautiful. 

I started hitchhiking out of Prague, 21 years old, with no plan. I had a week of rough adventure sleeping in the cold, cooking in the rain, and traveling to towns I couldn't pronounce. My ancestry is Czech, and I felt some connection to the people. It's a lovely country, certainly one of the nicest in Europe.
