A land of mythical mountains.

I visited Austria for a few weeks while hitchhiking around Europe after graduating college. What struck me most is how every corner of this nation is gorgeous. Every town, every valley, farm and creek is clean and green. Vienna, too, is one of the prettiest cities in Europe. 

However, summer 2011 was a wet one, and I spent a frustrating amount of time camping in the rain, and cancelled plans to climb some bigger peaks due to bad weather.

All in all, Austria is one of the world's prettiest nations.
