The island of Ta'u, in American Samoa, is not only a tropical paradise. It's likely filled with undiscovered and/or unmapped lava tubes. The jungle is thick, and there's no info online about existing lava tubes. My research for this trip is limited to speculation; I have not yet spoken to any locals in American Samoa. The National Park Service would probably be a good place to start.
